The Besgnulinux JWM 02-00 release was planned to be built with Debian 12, but Debian 12 has many bugs yet. That's why it was built with Debian 11 base for stable and smooth operation. Also, 32bit was planned as well as 64bit, but a useful 32bit version cannot be created as many software has now discontinued 32bit support.

After this short explanation, the purpose of Besgnulinux is as follows.

1- Stability.

2- Less resource usage.

3- Usability.

4- New users.

JWM 02-00 was developed around these four key goals.

Instead of software that uses the system too much, light, stable and useful software has been added with simple tools that I have created myself.

Some of these software are as below.

Pcmanfm, Lxterminal, Pluma, Gparted, Gdebi, Synaptic, Galculator, Mtpaint, qimgv, Guvcview, Abiword, Atril, Bleachbit, Brave Web Browser...

Brave Browser is the system's default browser as it uses fewer resources and is faster.

Pluma is the default text editor as it is lightweight and displays commands in separate color.

qimgv is the default image viewer that is both lightweight and very useful.

All of the tools I made were created with Yad and a total of 25 useful tools are available in the system.

Some features I made for this version are as follows.

Normally there is no software to add icons to the JWM panel. With the simple tool I developed, you can add an icon to the panel with one click or remove it with one click.

The most used directories have been added to the panel in order to speed up usage.

Many features have been added to the file manager right click context menu. These features will make your job much easier.

With the Change Theme Color tool, you can change the system theme and icon theme colors according to your taste.

There are many tools such as screen brightness adjustment, Weather, Startup manager.

You will also find some conveniences for JWM that contain a lot of tools called "JWM Tools".

As I mentioned above, this version, which was developed to be stable, low-resource usage and useful, is suitable for use on new machines as well as old machines. Also, new users can easily install it without any hassle, and with the essential tools needed, they won't feel any minuses.
